Credit is not taught in our schools and rarely in our universities. It is not even taught in most of our homes. So, where does one get their essential knowledge? For most of us, we had to learn the hard way. Without understanding the importance of our credit, we didn’t know why or how to establish and protect it. We eventually paid the price for our lack of knowledge. Next, we were forced to learn about credit the hard way. Society failed us, and it continues to fail each generation.
Even those who realize the importance of credit cannot find resources for accurate information. Since very few of us are taught about credit, even fewer are able and willing to teach it to others. With credit being so vitally important and few people understanding it, the publicly available information is ripe with myths and misinformation, further frustrating the problem.
